Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Sacred Heart Arts and Science College, Perani was established as per the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to ensure continuous, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the institution.
The IQAC plays a pivotal role in developing a quality culture in the academic and administrative processes of the college. It functions as a central mechanism for planning, guiding, and monitoring quality assurance activities and for maintaining institutional excellence.
Objectives of IQAC
To develop a systematic and conscious approach to quality improvement
To ensure enhancement and integration of academic and administrative activities
To promote student-centric teaching–learning processes
To encourage best practices and innovations in education
To prepare the institution for NAAC accreditation and quality sustenance
Functions of IQAC
Development and application of quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities
Facilitation of learner-centric environment and innovative teaching methods
Organization of seminars, workshops, conferences, and quality enhancement programmes
Collection and analysis of feedback from stakeholders
Documentation of various programmes and activities
Preparation and submission of AQAR (Annual Quality Assurance Report) to NAAC
